Bandhani style scarf, Organic cotton, Handwoven! plant dyed

Creating bandhani, much like the te-kumo ties you can see on some of my other indigo, is a Time consuming and painstaking process! Each bundle resist is picked up using a small steel needle and hand wrapped. And after dyeing, I must untie each resist as well!

I spent the Summer creating these bandhani in various complex, plant dyed colors. Select your color from the various options.

As I’ve sold these throughout the Summer, I’ve seen folks use my bandhani shawls used as a baby wrap/carrier, as a gorgeous table runner, and of course for a gorgeous scarf or wrap
