Linore was developed by Oregon State University, as a fiber and oil seed dual variety! It is shorter than true fiber varieties, but offered us a good 2.5 ft of growth before flowering. I have seen this flax run closer to 15 inches on subpar, low fertility dirt, tasty seed production for food.
